Alright so before we get into the releases we should mention that a few days ago was our group's second birthday! We didn't want to make a special post on the day itself for a couple reasons - first, a second anniversary isn't so exciting as a first one, and second, there's nothing really to say here that didn't get said this time last year. We're still having tremendous fun doing all this, and we all feel deeply privileged to have been able to bring you all another year of BL. We're still going strong and have absolutely no plans to quit or slow down, so here's hoping we'll be making another one of these posts in a year's time! Once again we would like to deeply thank our readers for their continued support, and all our friends for their extremely valuable contributions. And of course none of this would be possible without the poor mangakas themselves, so if you've seen a title you like here please think about buying yourself a copy. I'm sure none of the mangakas get paid very much so every little really does help!

Anyway onto the releases. First up we've got the final piece of Kurayami ni Strobe - the extra content in the Tankobon. Similar to the extras in the Yozora book we've got an omake and some 4komas - plus some really lovely colour bits (thanks to the appropriate people). There's no sign of any more Juicebox/Glasses oneshots at this point so this could be the last bit of Kurayami content you ever get - so enjoy!

And next up is the return of something you haven't seen in a while. You may remember a while ago we did a three-chapter story by Kevin Komine - Bikkuri. This story was published in the same volume as another three-chapter story, Bitansan Danshi, and we'e finally gotten around to having the first part of that ready. If you liked Bikkuri you'll probably like this, so there you go:

Finally an administrative announcement: extremely hard-working team member KG is going to take a well-deserved holiday from the group to focus on more useful pursuits. One of the things she does is take care of the acmedanmail email address, and I'm now going to be the one responsible for that. I'll try my best to settle into things as quickly as possible but there might unfortunately be a delay in my responses while I work out what's what - if you've asked us for something and haven't had a reply in about ten days from now, please email us again because I'll have missed the original message accidentally or something like that.

Tonight Yoake ni Furu returns - sort of. Instead of the expected chapter 2, the latest issue of Craft had a little omake thing instead - we've split the difference and called it chapter 1.5 It's all of four pages long and features Shouta and Daiki in their earlier forms, but it's pretty cute, is probably the main thing. This promises to be a fascinating story about a guy and his obsession with shoes and shoe-making and, despite being partially set in Italy, doesn't involve the Mafia at all, which is a pleasant novelty for these sorts of things. Also, to confirm, we plan on taking on the Yozora continuation (the first part of which has just come out in Japan), though of course our release of that will be a bit further off in the future.

So it's been a year, then. Who would've thought it (probably not most of us). But we're still here, and the little acorn we planted last February has grown into a beautiful butterfly and this is a terrible metaphor. It's been an enormously fun time, and we'd like to extend our deepest gratitude to anybody who's helped us out - particularly our partner groups and those people, a lot of them anonymous, who gave us the inspiration in the first place and provided support and encouragement in our early days when we weren't really sure what we were doing. Thanks of course must also go to our wonderful readers: your comments are always lovely to read, and you've all been very patient with the various delays and complications we've had to force on you. We're not trying to achieve any profit or self-aggrandisement out of what we do: all we care about is whether our readers enjoy the stuff we're putting out, and you've very definitely let us know that you do. Thanks once again to all of you.

Finally, there's a tendency to regard scanlation as just a transaction between the groups and their audiences, but of course none of this would be possible without the mangakas themselves, toiling away in BL dungeons to bring us all the delicious content we enjoy. "Supporting the artists" is a phrase thrown around so often as to be practically meaningless by this point, but please try to remember it: you can still pick up most of our titles on Honto or wherever else, and while a few hundred yen from foreign buyers isn't going to make much of an impact on Hideyoshico's bank balance it's still a decent thing to do if you've enjoyed the material.

Anyway it's been a thoroughly excellent experience and we hope you've enjoyed reading our stuff as much as we've enjoyed working on it. There'll be a post on this coming Sunday and it'll be normal service after that.
