This is, by way of reassurance, the order in which this was published -- that this chapter is fairly inconsequential and all of twelve pages long suggests it was perhaps something in the way of a contractual obligation. But still, it's very cute and -- no doubt more importantly to some -- it features the long-awaited return of Crying Glasses Man (...sort of). So let's get in the car and drive across to:

Back again already, by God. Anyway tonight we've got the (slightly) less lengthily-awaited next chapter of Yoake ni Furu, wherein Shouta, probably to nobody's surprise, continues to make Daiki very frustrated. This chapter is a little shorter than normal, page-wise, but in terms of text it's extra-ordinarily dense: the script for this one ran about 20% longer than that of an average 32-page Nojiko. No real reason for telling you this, but seeing as we're all here. Anyway,

Good evening! Been a long while.

Now, before we get down to the fun stuff I think a bit of real talk is order. We have not - as you all no doubt have noticed - been releasing very regularly for the last few months. And I think you deserve a bit more of an explanation as well as, once again, our deepest gratitude for your continued patience and good humour.

Previously I had said that a lot of stuff has jumped out at us in our real lives, and unfortunately that's still the case. But the fact is that, more generally, a lot of us aren't quite the people we were when this group started a couple years ago. Back then we were wild, rough characters, willing to sacrifice sleep, socialising and studies for the sake of having something to release every week. And we're no less enthusiastic now - but sadly our present selves must contend with more jobs, more work, and all that good stuff. Even when you take away specific burdens like exams &c., the fact remains that we've got a lot going on, much more than we once did. There's nothing happening with us behind the scenes - we're all still here and we all still love doing this stuff, but we're increasingly finding that we can't, quite as much as we used to. So this leads us onto a couple things:

I. For the time being, the weekly releases are over. Of course, in practice they've been over for a little while already, but just to make it official. We'll release stuff as soon as we can, and it'll go up on whatever day it's ready to, until further notice.

II. Once again we're extremely sorry that we haven't gotten much out lately - we know some projects have been sitting for a very long time, and we know that you all know this. We'll do what we can, and if there's anybody out there willing to help us out with cleaning you would be doing us a very great favour if you made yourself known.

Anyway, after all that, here's the next Yoake! Shouta gets into two fights - one in the past and one in the present. And Nojiko gives us a little protip on how to beat sales tax increases. So please enjoy!

Tonight Yoake ni Furu returns - sort of. Instead of the expected chapter 2, the latest issue of Craft had a little omake thing instead - we've split the difference and called it chapter 1.5 It's all of four pages long and features Shouta and Daiki in their earlier forms, but it's pretty cute, is probably the main thing. You join us tonight on the very exciting occasion of a Nojiko-Hideyoshico double-hander. First up is something a long time in coming: Yoake ni Furu, the continuation of Yozora no Sumikko de, which was apparently a manga a few of you enjoyed. Like the Endou-kun sequel, we now find the characters further on in the future - in this case we've travelled forward in time several years. Shouta is still about the same, his friend - now elevated to main character - is more placid and serious, and Hoshino and Sudou are dead. Please enjoy!
