Good evening!

Big bunch of stuff tonight, you lucky people. First we continue on the recent Hideyoshico theme with the covers and extra content for Volumes 1 and 2 of Stay Gold. To recap: Volume 1 was originally published back in classical antiquity (2014) by Gateau. The story then disappeared for a while until, under circumstances which remain highly opaque to us, it was transferred to OnBlue and new chapters started appearing there. Volume 2 came out, published by OnBlue, earlier this year, and they very obligingly decided to reissue Volume 1 at the same time, with a nice new cover to match Volume 2's. We have them both here, of course.

OnBlue's Volume 1 also includes some re-issued Udagawachou content which first appeared in OnBlue magazine --and was duly scanlated by us, inter alia-- in 2015. Fairly unaccountable that it should reappear here but, as the stories share a publisher, it makes sense from that perspective, and certainly it appearing in a volume gives it a more permanent home than it just disappearing obscurely in a magazine. If you're a real Hideyoshico head you'll have seen this stuff already but we include it here for completeness.

As a final note, these covers feature very handsome shiny gold text which, regrettably, is turned into an unpleasant murky brown colour in being scanned. Obviously we always exhort you to Support The Artists and buy all this stuff in the original but these books in particular are really nice in-person.

Stay Gold - Volume 2 - Extras

And in case you were worried we'd forgotten that artists other than Hideyoshico exist, we return to draw from our earliest well of them all with the long-awaited(?) next chapter of Endou-kun no Jikken Note, drawn, of course, by the radiant Hayakawa Nojiko. This story is out now in volume form as well, in fact -- and like Stay Gold it appears as a pair of books. This chapter here takes us to the end of the Volume 1 content, so next up in terms of Endou will be the extra content from the book, and then we'll get onto the Volume 2 chapters. But for now:

Endou-kun no Jikken Note - Chapter 7

Which takes us to the end of the post -- until next time, keep on keepin' on~

FOUR MORE YEARS

Good evening!

So it's --to our utter amazement-- the group's fourth birthday today: when we were originally getting all this together probably none of us thought we'd manage four months before we ran out of steam. Anyway we'll spare you all a speech, seeing as you've had a couple already, but of course we should say that this is still all very enjoyable to do, our readers are extremely nice people and it's a continued privilege to be the conduit through which this excellent material is brought into the English language. And of course, if you've liked any of our titles, please do consider throwing the actual authors a few coins: all the tankobons we've covered should still be more or less available in the usual locations, and even if you can't understand the language the art's still a pleasure to look at (and best of all, it's free from all the vandalism we've done to it!) But anyway none of this is what you're here for, so:

we've got some new Nojiko as promised, and this here's an interesting one. We're not entirely sure what this is: it popped up in an issue of OnBlue late last year and was described there as being part of an "insect-themed collaborative work" (paraphrasing slightly), with this Nojiko story to be the first instalment. So this could be a oneshot, to be followed by other oneshots with similar subject-matter by other artists (or by Nojiko herself); or there could be a second chapter of this later, by Nojiko or by somebody else; or it could be something else entirely -- this is really kind of a mystery. If anybody in the comments can bring any wisdom here we'd be especially grateful, and of course we'll offer any clarifications we can obtain ourselves. But anyway here this is now, whatever it is, and, fair warning, this is some fucked-up content (though not much graphic, in Nojiko's usual fashion). Anyway she thought this was worth drawing so naturally we thought it was worth scanlating, even if it's a little weird, so without further ado:

Ten Ten Shiro Shiro [oneshot?]

And finally, something very exotic. The Udagawachou movie has been out for a little while on DVD, and it's, uh, -- our reaction to it has not been especially favourable, to put it mildly. But putting aside its quality (or otherwise, as the case may be), it's a live-action adaption of one of our scanlations, so we felt some vague obligation to do something with it. And so, in a departure from our usual fare, we've put together some subtitles(!!) to the thing, so you all can read along at home. Now we emphasise here that these are subtitles only: we don't want to attract any unwanted attention by actually uploading the movie (a more substantive form of piracy than regular old scanlation, we imagine) so you'll need to procure your own copy of that. But once you've gotten that worked out you can download these and affix them to the video (and we strongly exhort you google how to do this yourself -- we've unfortunately got nothing to offer in the way of tech support). Shouldn't be any adjustments needed to the timing, we hope. Anyway so please enjoy (and do please let us know your thoughts about the movie in the comments):

Wait for Me at Udagawachou - The Movie - English subs

And that draws this very long post to a close: we hope we'll still be at this for a long time yet -- and more immediately we hope we'll see you all again soon! Take care now~

┌(-.-)┐

Good evening!

Long-time Hideyoshico fans will of course remember her 2012 classic Wait for Me at Udagawachou - a timeless tale about a beautiful yet distant guy who gives all his prospective love interests just "seven days" to win him over a guy who cross-dresses. You may also be aware that this title was adapted into a live-action film, which came out in Japan just a few months ago. (...has anybody actually seen it? Is it good?) Anyway OnBlue has decided to mark this auspicious occasion by getting Hideyoshico back in to draw some new stuff for the story, which you may now find below along with some promotional stuff for the movie:

Wait for Me at Udagawachou - Movie Special

Pages 1-36 is all new content from the movie tie-in, and we've also taken the opportunity to dig up a couple small things from the vault: an OnBlue cover from when the story was originally being serialised (pg. 37 - scanned by our friends at Rooftop Scenery), and a peculiar tribute drawing by Shoowa and Koiwazurai Shibito, which appeared in the January 2013 issue of OnBlue (pg. 38).

Anyway that's all for now -- we wish you a suitably frightening Halloween and hope to see you again as soon as possible!! (with more Nojiko)

⊙△⊙

Good evening!

We've got good and bad news for you this week: we've got another chapter of Udagawachou (and it's really long, coming in at 44 pages) plus all the extra stuff contained in the collected volume, but that's it - there'll be no more Udagawachou after this. This is it, the end. Unless we get a second volume or something. So please enjoy (while there's still fresh material)!

Wait for me at Udagawachou - Chapter 6 [end]

Wait for me at Udagawachou - Extras

That's probably more than enough to be getting on with for now, so we'll leave you alone until next week. Enjoy yourselves, and don't forget to read our FAQ before sharing.

ミ[°°]ミ

Good evening! Not a huge amount going on this week so we'll just get right to the releases. First up is the latest Udagawachou, in which things get very dramatic:

Wait for me at Udagawachou - Chapter 5

And we're still in an Evangelion sort of mood, so here's another lovely Cassino doujin:

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Only If

And that's everything. Have a good week, and don't forget to read our FAQ before sharing.

(❁´◡`❁)*✲゚*

Roaring back into action!

Now, we occasionally get some folk who say to us "acme, how come everything you do is so serious all the time? Would it kill you to pick up something a bit more light-hearted once in a while?" And lo-! From up in our ivory scanlation tower we have heard your entreaties, and so tonight we are very extremely proud to present the first chapter of Oyajina!, a beautiful story of high-school girls turned into handsome older men by magic because of an industrial accident. We've had a lot of fun working on this and we hope you all enjoy it as well.

Oyajina! - Chapter 1

Next up, we've got something we haven't done in a while: an Evangelion doujin by the lovely Cassino. If you're in an Eva mood right now, what with all the hype for Rebuild 3.0, then this will probably do you some good. Thanks to Shinjisan for the raws, and be warned, it's extremely R-18.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Lock'n'Up

And finally the latest Udagawachou, which needs no further elaboration.

Wait for me at Udagawachou - Chapter 4

And one last thing: we're looking to take on another typesetter and/or translator. If you're willing to work on, as a very rough estimate, about twenty-five pages a fortnight, in the company of some reasonably fun and laid-back people, then please let us know at acmedanmail[@]gmail.com. Typesetters will need to have some form of Photoshop and be able to do this sort of thing.

May Kaworu always win the Evanjelly (and please, no spoilers in the comments!).

ー( ̄~ ̄)ξ

Good evening! Sadly we've just got the one chapter for you all this week, but it's the next one of Wait for me at Udagawachou, which should hopefully provide some consolation. It's nice and long as well, and comes with a very lewd colour page.

Wait for me at Udagawachou - Chapter 3

And speaking of colour, a reader kindly pointed out that we forgot to include scans of the Mizu no Haru cover in any of the chapters, so here it is now:

Mizu_no_haru_ch1_cover[acme]
If you have Chapter 1 downloaded already then please put it there, and we'll include this in the volume batch when we get around to making it.

That's all for this week, enjoy the content and don't forget to read our FAQ before sharing.

(●´□`)♡

Good evening! Tonight we are extremely proud to present the first two chapters of Hideyoshico's latest work, Wait for Me at Udagawachou, which takes cross-dressing boys as its main theme. Any elaboration beyond that is surely unnecessary. Scans courtesy of our товáрищей at Lapin Peluche.

Wait for Me at Udagawachou - Chapter 1

Wait for Me at Udagawachou - Chapter 2 Version 2

And that's everything for this week. Enjoy yourselves, and don't forget to read our FAQ before sharing,

I also hope you enjoy it as much as Lenny did.
