∠( ᐛ 」∠)_

Good evening! Been a long while.

Now, before we get down to the fun stuff I think a bit of real talk is order. We have not - as you all no doubt have noticed - been releasing very regularly for the last few months. And I think you deserve a bit more of an explanation as well as, once again, our deepest gratitude for your continued patience and good humour.

Previously I had said that a lot of stuff has jumped out at us in our real lives, and unfortunately that's still the case. But the fact is that, more generally, a lot of us aren't quite the people we were when this group started a couple years ago. Back then we were wild, rough characters, willing to sacrifice sleep, socialising and studies for the sake of having something to release every week. And we're no less enthusiastic now - but sadly our present selves must contend with more jobs, more work, and all that good stuff. Even when you take away specific burdens like exams &c., the fact remains that we've got a lot going on, much more than we once did. There's nothing happening with us behind the scenes - we're all still here and we all still love doing this stuff, but we're increasingly finding that we can't, quite as much as we used to. So this leads us onto a couple things:

I. For the time being, the weekly releases are over. Of course, in practice they've been over for a little while already, but just to make it official. We'll release stuff as soon as we can, and it'll go up on whatever day it's ready to, until further notice.

II. Once again we're extremely sorry that we haven't gotten much out lately - we know some projects have been sitting for a very long time, and we know that you all know this. We'll do what we can, and if there's anybody out there willing to help us out with cleaning you would be doing us a very great favour if you made yourself known.

Anyway, after all that, here's the next Yoake! Shouta gets into two fights - one in the past and one in the present. And Nojiko gives us a little protip on how to beat sales tax increases. So please enjoy!

Yoake ni Furu - Chapter 3

And that's, of course, all for now. Smell you later!

  1. Thank you for the new release! Actually in the last post I wanted to thank you for updating the post almost every week even though there was nothing to release. It was comforting to know that the group wasn't abandoned even though the releases had stopped haha I really hadn't even noticed it's been two months...

  3. ahhh, it's my fav series. <3 Thank you all for working hard on it despite being so busy. ;v; It's understandable that RL priorities come first. No one should be complaining/angry about free scanlations in the first place. >.>

  4. Thank you so much! I thought you were going to announce that outside life commitments were going to make you quit scanlating. I'm really happy to hear that you're still enjoying it AND that you're no longer willing to sacrifice sleep. Sleep is important!

  6. Oooh thanks so much and welcome back! I really can't fault you for your reasons either. I edit for a group and when I joined I had a lot of free time and was very gung ho... now I have an exhausting job that I hate and I find I just want to read manga more than clean it.

  7. I thank you very much for taking the time to explain this to us. Real life responsibilities come first and everyone should realize this. Well I will miss the weekly releases I understand wholeheartedly why they can't continue and respect greatly the fact that you will still take the time to bring us something when you can. Thank you so much for all your hard work! Take care!

  14. Acmedan Team !!! We are honored.
I know that just giving my comment week after week can't help as much as you deserve and need to be help with things. I just wanna say that you are one of the best or maybe the best scanlation team and we are here to give you our support not to give you a uncomfortable feeling . So don't take the blame because you are doing SO RIGHT, the team is working so hard . You own our hearth giving explanation and making us to understand the situation, we are flattered . I know that under a simple comment nobody can feel my grateful feelings, don't take my next words as a simple "Thank you for your hard work and this extraordinary release" but take it as if i've giving my whole self to thank you.

  26. thank you very much for your hard work! as someone who used to be a scanlator 10 years ago and, sadly, outgrew it (plus the real life doesn't wait for you, unfortunately) i understand this perfectly. never let scanlating become a chore, it should be fun :)

  27. Thank you so much!

And please don't apologize, we understand completely and will always be grateful for your work, whatever the frequency of the releases. You've introduced us to wonderful mangakas and series and I can't thank you enough for all the work you've done. (Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat right now and until the end of the year so I would just be a dead weight if I applied as a cleaner orz)

  34. Thank you for the release and your continued time and dedication to bringing us some great BL. I would prefer to hear from you every week to let us know what's going on over dead silence any day. I hope that should the day come that you no longer plan on scanlating that you'll also let the fans and readers know too. It's always sad to see a group simple abandoned. I'd rather at least have the opportunity to thank them and wish them well for everything.

  35. I love you guys the most and I don't mind the wait at all, prioritize your daily life stuffs first. we, the readers totally understand you guys and thanks for your releases so far! :D

as long as you keep us up to date with anything important! xD

  36. Hello, thanks a lot for all the hard work and you shouldn't worry for not being able to release every week you already do much more than enough willing to sacrifice the little free time you must have scanlating, so that others are able to read.
But I hope that people will want to join your group, I'd like to but I already help a few groups and I can't help more.
But if someone want's to help your group this is a good tutorial
and this is a place where you can ask people to qc your cleaning.

  39. thank you for the update! And really, you don't have to apologize for having a life. Your releases are always high quality, and that's one reason I always enjoy anything you put out to us. So keep concentrating on high quality over quantity, and don't fret over having other/more important things you want/need to do.

See you when we see you! thank you!

  43. Real Life should be more important unless you are a hikikomori, the this could count like RL, while is not like that, there are a lot of things always going on, like it or not, and I'm thankfull for your commitment with all your projects, even if it's in a slow pace, reading all this great manga is more than enough! I just hope it continues making you happy enough for you keep it up. Huggsss

  44. It's very good of you to share this update. Really, it's understandable how rl takes precedence over everything else. I'm just really grateful that you guys are still working on hard on the scanlation and sharing it with us. So, thank you for this release and for all the hard work! I look forward to the next release when it comes. :) Take care!
